Spring of 2007 Materials Used: Mildsteel for the quillons and pomel, high carbon steel for the quillon block, random mildly thick leather for washers between hardware, Handle is of ebonized Ash, and the blade is a 45" bated rapier blade from Darkwood Armoury. Time Involved: didn't keep track - was rushing to get it done for an SCA event during a scant few days where I was between the two big projects for my Printmaking II class.
